What Kind Of Impurities Can Damage My Porsche Engine?

Your Porsche engine is by all means a vital part. Without it, you probably would look at your car differently. Water

The transmission fluid will look milky in consistency and the engine oil will be diluted by water in the oil pan. Water damage affects electrical wiring and the lubrication system. The engine parts will most likely malfunction. Here, loud and odd noises will probably be heard after the care engine has been exposed. Such noise may emanate from the air conditioner, the belts, or the alternator among other possibilities.

Bad Oil

As many people give credit to the Porsche’s engine when praising performance, it is usually the oil that maintains everything running. Dirty or contaminated oil may be even more damaging to the engine than no oil at all. When your engine becomes infested with metal and dirt or loses its viscosity, it becomes actively corrosive, speeding the process in which the engine wears down. One of the first effects you will likely incur with dirty oil is lowering your vehicle’s fuel economy. The engine will most likely overheat or worse, simply break down.

Dirt And Debris

Air gets sucked in the engine as the piston moves down. This normally happens during the engine’s intake stroke. In the event the air filter breaks down, the engine will suck dirt and debris in.
